Calcifer (Cal) is a wonderful orange tabby. He is a small tabby, about 7#s right now. Cal came to SFOF in very bad condition. He was extremely malnourished and flea infested. As a result, he had hair loss and an overall dull. dry coat. Just a few weeks of eating healthy and he is now at a good weight, and his coat has filled in. Because he lacked food for so long, he tends to eat ravenously. It would be best to feed him 3 times a day, smaller portions, until he begins to realize that the food will keep coming.
Cal is a very sweet and loving boy. He loves to give kisses, and purrs a lot. He would do best in a home without small children, as we want him to remain an indoor cat always, and kids have a way of not being careful with the opening and closing of doors. He likes most other cats, however occasionally he finds one that he wants to pick a fight with. Please call or text Penny if you would like to meet him. 503-851-5377
