My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper & Rascal are 11 year old brothers searching for their forever home. Cooper, 13 pounds and Rascal, 15 pounds are gorgeous long hair blonde dachshunds who are both submissive in disposition.

Cooper and Rascal love to go on walks and need to lose a bit of weight. They are working on their weight loss in their foster home in Florida. They love to cuddle and snuggle and get along well with other dogs. They have not been tested with kitties or with young children but would do well with children 10 years and older. They love older kids and spend lots of cuddle time with the children who visit their foster home. They get along with everyone!

Cooper and Rascal love to sleep in the big bed and especially love the pillows! They would love a forever home where they could have big bed privileges. They love to groom each other and cuddle. They love to eat and do need to be monitored so that Rascal, who eats quickly, doesn’t eat Cooper’s food.

Rascal is a talker and he will make little noises as he settles down to sleep and then he snores.

Cooper and Rascal are very well house trained and have never had an accident in their foster home. Like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in their environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important.
