My name is Delilah, I was given this name by my human family. I was the happiest pup ever, and just loved playing in the yard with the kids. The family consisted of a mom and a little boy and a little girl. I was a happy girl. One day as a pup I got out of the yard and decided to check out the town. I was gone for about a week!!, when I found my way back, I knew life was going to be a little different. Nobody knows exactly what happened except me, but the problem is I can't talk. The result was, I now have no eye on my left side. My family continued to love me and I was with them until about a few months ago. Mom's friend had the kids and her move somewhere I was not allowed and as a result I was turned into a shelter. Luckily there were nice people there who got me out of there quick because that place made me very scared. I spent most of the days sitting in the corner keeping watch of whom was coming by my kennel. I sat there and thought of the little boy and girl and how much I miss them,... I'm finally here at Skyllers and have met a few dogs and have been getting along great. When I first meet a new human I do get a little nervous but after a while I get use to them and really enjoy getting pets and rubs. I have a great appetite, and LoVe my cookies!!! I am hoping to find a home that is not so hectic, older children are ok only because of my vision issue, fast movements can startle me. A home where we can go for a walk or a car ride with someone who wants a true companion who will love me unconditionally as I will love you. I am 5 yrs old with a D.O.B. 01/01/2014 and I weigh in at 45 lbs. and have nothing but love to give. I promise that I will NEVER turn my back on you and will stick it through no matter what.
I have gone to the vet and am current on my appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested - , heartworm preventative , flea and tick control, dewormed, spayed, and for safety I have been microchipped.
Even though I am having a great time here at Skyllers what I am missing is a loving and FURever home and I was hoping that your home will be the one!
