Adopt Dash
This is Dash! He is about 3 years old , weighs about 70 pounds, and we think he's possibly a anatolian shepherd/husky/saluki mix ? No matter what breed he is, he's one handsome boy. He really enjoys meeting new people and is very friendly and affectionate.
He likes to go for car rides and walks and is a happy boy overall. He is still a little sensitive to new things like loud noises and gets a little nervous with dogs or people from a distance. He's great with kids, cats, and most dogs too! He needs the proper introduction to new doggy friends so he knows they are his buddy, so an overly energetic dog might not be a good match for him.
He is great on the leash and doesn't pull at all. He knows how to use the dog door and is find being left alone for a few hours at a time. He is very low key and mellow in the house, but does enjoy running with his dog friends in an enclosed area like the baseball field at school!
He gets very excited when you get home and can get a little mouthy because he's excited. He doesn't always do this, though. It might depend on how long you were gone or if there is other excitement associated with your arrival home. Because of this, we recommend a home with children over the age of 10 who are experienced with this behavior.
Dash really wants to please you and is a very smart and sweet boy. He would do well in a home with no other dogs or a dog similar in age and energy. He listens well to corrections and understands when his behavior is unwanted.
