My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB May 1/18. female Chihuahua Kei is an 8 month old, 8 lb Chihuahua/terrier all rolled into one pretty package Now that we have the basic, boring facts out of the way, let's talk about how fun and fabulous Kei is. Kei is an all around awesome pup. She gets along well with kids, cats and dogs. Yes, the trifecta! Kei is very energetic and playful and would love a family who can keep up with her. Some of her favorite things (in no particular order) are: watching TV on the couch with you, belly rubs, playing with toys, sneaking snacks and her fur-pal Kae. Kei likes to be wherever her people and fur friends are, and does not have a jealous bone in her body. She shares willingly with her fosters pups. Kei has been working on her perfect house manners, learning basic commands (albeit in Spanish), and we are discovering a smart fun pup. Like all just out of puppy stages, Kei is still working hard on containing her exuberance for life and has a lot to offer a great family.

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.

NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
