First off Macy is a great dog. Knows most of her commands (sit, stay, come), is not great on a leash, but that is our fault and she is a very quick learner. She is a mixed breed heeler or "cattle dog". She is a herder for sure. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. She has never been abused in ANY way. In fact she was probably too spoiled, and that puts us in the situation we are in.
The problem she has is with other dogs. Strange dogs she seems to want to prove herself and be aggressive. She has recently started to attack, randomly, the other dog in the house (she was raised with him). No evident trigger and it can be very hard to get her to stop. No damage, but its unsettling. She has NEVER been aggressive towards humans.
I believe she would fit best with someone who can give her time and exercise. A single person or couple, no little kids (herding). No other animals. She is very smart and a very cute dog. We are heartbroken about this.
