Twyla is currently located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so she is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Twyla is an adorable little girl that was saved from a fast kill animal control facility. We think she is a rat terrier mix with her striking blue eyes coming from some husky in the lineage. Twyla is young, still under a year of age, and weighs around 7 pounds. Twyla has only been with us for a week, but she is super sweet, snuggly and loving despite being a bit shy. Twyla loves treats and playing with other dogs. Twyla is very small and delicate, so she is scared of big dogs and prefers playing with small dogs around her own size. Twyla was quickly crate trained, but she needs work with house training. Twyla is fairly well behaved in the house, but she still needs obedience training and more socialization. Twyla is small and delicate and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt her. She must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider her dinner. Twyla must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Twyla is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, negative for heartworms and has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. Twyla has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY.
