Violet was turned into the Hayward Shelter as stray. At the shelter, she was very shy in her kennel, staying in the back. However, she engaged with some of the staff that she trusted, when out of her kennel. She was introduced to other dogs at the shelter, but that didn’t go well. The shelter contacted Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs to help her out.

Her rehabilitation didn’t take long. As soon as she was out of the shelter, she wasn’t shy with anyone. She interacted with other dogs pretty well, showing a little teeth if the initial meeting was too intimate for her. She ended up in a foster home with LOTS of other dogs. She was initially overwhelmed, but then did fine with all the dogs (big and small).

Violet will make a wonderful companion for just about anyone. She would do well will with a well-mannered dog or she would probably be okay as the only dog, as long as she gets lots of attention. She is a puppy and needs to learn some manners (no jumping on the dining room table when the family is eating, etc.)
