My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eddie is a Jack Russell Terrier and is somewhere around the age of 6 or 7 years. Don't be fooled by his age though, he has the perfect balance of energy and lots of life left.

Eddie was rescued from the Athens County Dog Shelter. His foster mom says he is 100% housebroken and has not had one accident in the house. She says he sleeps in a crate at night and is fine, although I'm sure he would love to cuddle with you all night.

Eddie is great on a leash, and doesn't jump, unless you ask him to jump on your lap, then he would let you pet him for hours. Eddie loves to relax with you for hours on the couch and watch TV or run around outside and go for walks. He is good in staying in the yard for potty and hanging around with you in public places.

His foster mom takes him to Stroud's Run and lets him run around off leash and he has a blast! His foster mom takes him EVERYWHERE with her and he loves it! She says he also loves LOVES to go for car rides. She has taken him to and from Cleveland-TWICE! 4 hours each way!

His foster mom says that when she lets him out to potty, he potties and then he runs to the car asking to go for a ride! She has taken him boating and swimming at a lake house and loves to swim off the dock and play in water and has a blast on the boat. He is great with all other dogs, kids-large and small, women, men, and cats. His foster mom has a cat and another big dog.
He doesn't mind being touched, prodded or poked by kids and is the most laid back dog ever!!
If you're running away from him, he loves to run after you to catch up-he doesn't like to be left behind. He is definately a very people oriented dog. Eddie is neutered, up to date on all shots and vaccines, he comes with a dog tag, and is a ready made dog!

Eddie's adoption fee is $150 to cover his medical exam, shots, neuter, and dog license. Eddie weighs 18lbs but is very compact in size. Eddie can even do tricks-especially for food! He can sit, give paw, lay down and roll over!

His foster mom says his only issue is that he likes to beg for people food-and that's not even a big deal! Who wouldn't love people food opposed to doggie kibble every day! He is quite a smart little guy! And he is a ready-made dog! He has a docked tail but his dew claws are still intact.

If Eddie sounds like a dog that may be right for your family, please send us an e-mail!
