My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aurora! This beauty came to us from the great state of Texas. She spent the beginning months of her life living in the streets. She was malnourished, hairless, and terrified of humans. Fast forward a few months and Aurora had made an immense amount of progress and has slowly learned to trust her human counterparts. She has learned that a hand that reaches out, is meant to stroke her rather than hurt her. Her life certainly wasn’t easy prior to joining our rescue, and for that reason, she can still be somewhat shy upon first meeting her. However, once she feels comfortable she will follow you around and everywhere, especially if you supply a steady amount of belly rubs and cuddles. Aurora thoroughly enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to be in a home with a big brother or sister that will guide her and help her build confidence.
