My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MOLLY is a sweet-natured Silky Terrier with spunk. She is young, between 2-3 years old according to our Vet and weighs only 7 - 1/2 pounds. She was found abandoned and wandering by a landscaper service. Molly has since been fully vaccinated, dewormed and is on heartworm prevention. She will be spayed in the near future. Now happy and healthy, she's searching for a responsible owner and forever home to call her own. Molly would do well with a cat or other small sized doggy. If she's the only pet, she will need the companionship of a retired person or couple or an active family with older children or teens where she gets needed interaction, walks and playtime. This sweetie pie will require some regular brushing for her silky coat. Terriers make wonderful watch dogs and enjoy attention and activity around the home. Small enough for car rides around town, Molly is sociable and rather portable like many smaller dog breeds. She also enjoys being a lap dog!
Silky Terriers were developed in Australia by crossing the English Yorkshire terriers with the Australian terrier breeds in the late 1800's. This breed has little shedding, require some brushing and typically have big personalities and make excellent companion dogs.
