My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roscoe has had an interesting journey. Awhile back he came to BRLA from the Bakersfield shelter. Before he was adopted his original owners saw him on our website and showed proof he was there dog. Fast forward to a phone call from concerned neighboor saying a Boxer was mostly outside and turns out it was Rosco. He had shelter and food so the authorities said he was fine. Fast forward one more time and Roscoe's family is moving and does not want to take him. Concerned neighbors stepped up once again and took him in and contacted BRLA so Rosco would not end up in the shelter again.

Roscoe was happy living with another dog when he moved in with neighbors. But the cat was not so happy. The stress of being in a shelter has made it difficult for Roscoe to make new canine friends. We know he was good with dog at home and perhaps if he goes home as only dog to unwind he will regain his social skills. In the meantime he is one athletic Boxer boy that would sure love an active owner.
