My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy! We're Fred and George Weasley, named after the carrot-topped twin pranksters in the Harry Potter series. We're sweet, affectionate, loving, and strikingly handsome red Classic tabby boys who were born about September 2018 (judging by our weights). Classic tabbies have marble swirls on their sides instead of the typical fish-bone stripes of mackerel tabbies. So we're quite stunning "eye-candy" kittens who've been graced with wonderful personalities as well.
We're a bonded pair of playful wrestlers who also love to cuddle with our foster family and show our love by turning on our purr motors the moment we are touched. We showed up in our future foster meowmy's back yard with our ears already tipped, the universal sign of our having been neutered. The Good Samaritan who must've "fixed" us maybe didn't realize that we were a little too young to be released back outside, but bless our foster meowmy for taking us inside out of the cold, wet winter weather and turning to Buster's Friends to assist her in finding us a fantastic new home.
George says, "I'm the larger, chunkier of the pair who has a rounder face with more white on my chin. I sport a purple collar in some of the photos. I'm the bolder, braver, more adventurous, more trusting, and more dominate of the pair."
Fred says, "I'm the sleeker one with a more triangular face. I sport a pink collar in some of the photos. I'm a "burrower" who is more of a follower and who can be timid and shy about trying new things until George has done them first. I wait for George to give me permission to do new things, but once I have his approval, I'm all in!"
We're perfectly happy in our foster home, where our foster meowmy has spent lots of time holding us and socializing us to humans. Man, that's the "cat's meow!" However, our foster home is already full with several resident cats, whom we haven't met yet. We realize that it would be far better for us to have a loving home of our very own where we can be cuddled and loved by our humans to our hearts' content. And we want to play and wrestle with each other for the rest of our lives. So we're hoping that a family will adopt us together. Just think -- we could keep each other company while everyone's at work/ school, or on vacation.
So arrange to meet us today! We'll let you judge to see which one of us has the purr motor with the loudest decibels.
Fred and George Weasley are updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for their indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Their adoption fee is $225 as a bonded pair for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Fred and George Weasley, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet them.
To adopt our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors. To make the process more efficient, submit the online cat adoption application at https://www.bustersfriends.org/cat-adoption-application.
