My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy! My name is George Weasley, and my brother Fred Weasley and I were named after the carrot-topped twin pranksters in the Harry Potter series. I'm a sweet, affectionate, loving, and strikingly handsome red Classic tabby boy who was born about September 2018 (judging by my weight). Classic tabbies have marble swirls on their sides instead of the typical fish-bone stripes of mackerel tabbies. So I'm a quite stunning "eye-candy" kitten who's been graced with a wonderful personality as well.
I'm a playful wrestler who also loves to cuddle with my foster family and show my love by turning on my purr motor the moment I'm touched. Fred and I showed up in our future foster meowmy's back yard with our ears already tipped, the universal sign of our having been neutered. The Good Samaritan who must've "fixed" us maybe didn't realize that we were a little too young to be released back outside, but bless our foster meowmy for taking us inside out of the cold, wet winter weather and turning to Buster's Friends to assist her in finding us fantastic new homes.
I'm the larger, chunkier of the pair who has a rounder face with more white on my chin. I sport a purple collar in some of the photos. I'm the bolder, braver, more adventurous, more trusting, and more dominate leader of the pair.
I'm perfectly happy in my foster home, where my foster meowmy has spent lots of time holding me and socializing me to humans. Man, that's the "cat's meow!" However, my foster home is already full with several resident cats, whom I haven't met yet. I realize that it would be far better for me to have a loving home of my very own where I can be cuddled and loved by my humans to my hearts' content. Although Fred Weasley and I are available separately, we want to play and wrestle with each other for the rest of our lives. So we're hoping that a family will adopt us together. Just think -- we could keep each other company while everyone's at work/ school, or on vacation.
So arrange to meet us today! We'll let you judge to see which one of us has the purr motor with the loudest decibels.
George Weasley is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $125 ($225 for the bonded pair with Fred Weasley) for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in George Weasley, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.
To adopt one of our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors. To make the process more efficient, submit the online cat adoption application at https://www.bustersfriends.org/cat-adoption-application.
