This fun girl is a young, energetic Red Heeler mix. She walks well on a leash and has lots of energy to walk, run and play. We've just met her so not sure how she is with other dogs. She is a sweet friendly attractive young lady so stop by and take Star for a stroll soon!

We cannot confirm that dogs who come from the shelter will be house trained.

Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.

Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.

We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.

*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.

*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.

*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.


*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
