Hey y'all, my name's Rocko! I'm a 1 year old ladies man weighing in at a svelte 60lbs. My foster mom thinks I'm just the handsomest guy, and I do believe she's right! And don't let the Pit Bull mix give you pause, my profile really should say "very very good boy" mix, but apparently that wasn't one of the options. My foster mom has just been so impressed with how smart and loving I am. I get along great with other pups, I love little humans, and I don't even mind kitties. Live and let live, right? And I can't wait to find a permanent place to live that will chuck lots of balls for me to fetch, take me on hikes and maybe even runs, or to the doggo park!! I've heard rumor of these magical parks JUST FOR DOGS that are made for running and playing and making new best friends. How I hope to tick visiting one of these places off my bucket list. I've also been told I'm an A+ snuggler, and maybe a little bit of a couch hog, so a family with a cushion or two to share would be awesome. Did I also mention that I'm crate and house trained already? Not to brag, but I've been told I'm the total package. This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
