Hi,

My name is Drake. I am a 50lb Alaskan Husky mix. I am almost a year old, and I might have a little growing to do.

I am a sweet guy who didn’t have the greatest start. I am originally from Cheyenne Wyoming, and I may have lived outside for quite a while in my lifetime. I am still learning how to love and trust people. The next step in my rehab is going to be settling into a lifestyle with my new family. I am going to need an adopter who has husky experience and lots of patience. I am also required to go into a home with 1 or more other dogs, as that will greatly increase my chances of adapting well. I am a smart cookie, and I would do very well in a training class once I have warmed up to my family. I would do best in a home without young children. I cannot be picked up or caught off guard, as I am still very fearful. I am a sweet dog, but I like to chase the cats once I warm up, and I would do best in a home without cats. I will not hurt them, but I love to chase.
