My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purlie would the purr-fect companion for a calm home. He's a pretty chill dude who mostly just wants to hang out by your side, cuddle and play a bit. Just don't try to lock Purlie out of your bedroom! One night, his foster mom wouldn't let him in her bedroom because he was being rambunctious--he spent the whole night sleeping outside her door. Aww!

The ideal home for Purlie would probably be one with no small kids. Although Purlie is relaxed, he has been known to occasionally swat when he's in a mood--like if his foster mom isn't giving him enough attention. He's also been good with the other cats in his foster home, as long as they're relaxed and confident like he is. But he can actually be a bit of a bully around skittish kitties. (Rude, Purlie!)

Purlie is about 5 to 6 years old, a handsome and healthy tuxedo boy. He has been waiting for his forever person or family since we rescued him almost a year ago. He can't wait to find them so he can start giving them allll his love. Please come meet him at his foster home in Harlem if you think that could be you!
