Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet young Charlie, a sweet 1 year old boy that's pretty much fully grown at 20lbs. Charlie came into rescue after being found alone on a cold, rainy morning shivering on the side of the road. Now that he's safe in a great foster home, Charlie just couldn't be happier! This sweet pint sized boy doesn't suffer from the "Napoleon Syndrome" some other little dogs do, and he greets people and pups of all sizes with a wiggling butt. Charlie is of moderate energy being a young boy, but he's not over the top active... a nice walk or doggo park play session a day does him just fine. Charlie is happiest when he's with his people, and would benefit from a home where family is around most of the time. He currently goes to work with his foster mom and loves showing off his sweetness to customers. If dogs could have jobs, we estimate Walmart Greeter would be the perfect fit for this guy. Charlie just wants a chance to prove he's the best dog ever and deserves to be loved, and simply can't wait until his perfect family finds him and brings him home. We know his new people will wonder how they ever lived without him. Read on to learn more about adopting this amazing little dude.
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms which has been treated. The adoption fee is $500 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
