Hi there! My name is Link and my foster family says that I am a very sweet, special boy!
I love everyone, love to snuggle and give kisses. I don’t really know how to play with toys and when I go for a walk I like to pretend my leash is a pull toy. Unfortunately, my foster parents don’t agree especially since I chewed through two leashes so now I have a chain leash which isn’t as nice to play with. I pull a bit when out walking but there are so many good smells!
There are 4 big dogs in my foster family and I like to play and chase them. There are also kitties there and sometimes they are scary especially if they jump down from high places or hiss at me. A lot of things scare me – even imaginary things sometimes – and then I run to my safe place. I seem to be more nervous with men than women but my foster Dad is working on that and we are starting to cuddle more. My foster family also have horses and they’re big and a little scary but I’m getting used to them too. I also love rolling in the manure, and don’t tell anyone, but I sometimes eat it too!
I am crate trained and house trained. I love treats and will sit and take them gently from your hand. I tend to eat my food quickly but sure enjoy it. Whilst in foster care I also went to the Vet for a checkup and I was a very good boy – she was a very nice lady and gave me belly rubs and liver treats!
Ideal Home: My forever family will have to be patient with me until I feel safe with them. A quiet house would be best with someone who is home most of the time. I love car rides and enjoy being outside more than inside, so a fenced in yard would be ideal.
