My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet and silly babe is around a year old and weighs in at 35 lbs. He is the perfect little medium size. Babe is deaf, but that does not get his spirits down any. He is a happy go lucky boy that loves every dog and person he meets. Babe loves to play and would do wonderful at doggy parks/beaches. He is very outgoing and friendly is just a puppy at heart! He does great on lead and on car rides. Such a fun boy that is going to make a wonderful family companion.

Tips for Living with a Deaf Dog. Keep your deaf dog on a leash or in a fenced yard. Deaf dogs cannot hear cars and other hazards. ... Place a bell on your dog's collar so you can find her. Use a flashlight to signal to your dog that you want her attention.

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at PetSmart in Plainville all three days for the National Adoption Weekend. Starting on Friday the 22nd from 2pm-6pm, then on Saturday the 23rd from 10am-2pm and lastly on Sunday the 24th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
