My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mama Asha! After being a patient and doting mother to three puppies, Mama Asha is ready to be the star of the show. She would like to be cast with one or two loving adults who she can snuggle up with in between taking wonderful hikes and generally coming along on life’s adventures.

Mama Asha is a 4-5 year old herding mix (40lbs) whose funny mannerisms and joyful zoomies will keep you laughing. Although she would of course prefer to be with her people 24/7, as any herder would, she settles well at home to wait for you. She is fully house trained and is smart as a whip; she loves to learn and has some basic obedience work. In fact she hopes her new humans will want to keep doing training with her, since it’s a great way to bond and keep her formidable brains occupied.

We think an adult-only home is best, mainly because she prefers to be left in peace while getting her beauty rest. She would also thrive in a more rural environment so that she can go on long hikes and bask in the sun. Having lots of company all the time would be stressful for her, as she takes being mistress of the house very seriously. While out and about though she is easygoing and friendly to all--children, other dogs, maybe not squirrels though...

Mama Asha would be happy to be an only dog; she plays well with her doggie friends and can also get into the idea of sharing the humans with another dog. Mama Asha is going to make her new people very happy and proud. She is delightful and ready for her casting call!

She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, has been de-wormed, microchipped! Please email jguff12@gmail.com for more information or to fill out an application!
