My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mulligan! This handsome, 40-ish pound, 1.5 year old boxer mix is ready to find his forever home! He is microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, neutered, and potty/crate trained.

Mully was adopted from a local rescue organization about a year ago by a friend, but her life situation changed and she was no longer able to care for him. I offered to evaluate him for my service dog program where I train Diabetic Alert Service Dogs. After being with me for awhile, it's clear that he does not do well with smaller dogs, and therefore would not be a good fit for our program as we currently have small dogs.

Mulligan does ok with dogs his size or larger, although he does have a rough play style so supervision and redirection is often required while he plays. He walks well on leash with a front clip harness, and rides well in the car. He's amazingly affectionate and giving kisses is his specialty! Mulligan would love a home of his own!
