My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blueberry is a violet (lilac was the only color available in the menu, that's not an actual chinchilla color name) male chinchilla. The violet chinchilla color isn't one that is seen all the time, which is one reason his adoption fee is a bit on the higher side.

Blueberry was purchased about two years ago from a breeder up north and brought down to Florida. He has since learned to live with the endless summer and enjoys those rare cool winter days when the A/C can actually be shut off. His prior owners had to move into an apartment and sadly .. rules are rules and they couldn't bring him with them. He has been with us for a few months and while he isn't aggressive, he is a super independent chin. He knows when he wants out of cage time and when he wants to be left alone. He loves to explore and get out for playtime, and get his dust bath. He isn't one for photos.. he would rather be trying to figure out how to jump out the door when it's open.
