My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gavin is a beautiful, friendly, long haired cat we've had since he was a kitten. We adopted him from an animal shelter and have given him a loving home for 11 years. He is a sweet boy, never hurting anyone, but he does like to use his claws for a good stretch. His family is moving to a much smaller home where they won't have the space for the kitty accomodations (cat trees, scratching posts) that he needs in order to satisfy his feline instincts.

Gavin is a playful, loving, happy cat who loves the sound of his own singing. With a true friend to give him attention, he will be an amazing companion. He loves for his person to be nearby and to give him lots of petting and love.

His ideal new home would be one where he has lots of time with his person, a nice talk scratching post (or someone willing to apply the soft paws nail caps for cats, which he tolerates very well), and where he stays indoors, as he has very little street smarts.
