Koala is an adult (born approx 12.1.12) neutered male Akita. He is up to date on vaccines, on flea/heartworm prevention, microchipped, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained.

Koala was surrendered to the shelter in Tarboro, NC after his owner passed away. He is a super sweet guy who likes other dogs and may be able to live with cats, but would need to be tested. He is undergoing the slow kill method of treatment for his heartworms
