My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Owner was moving and needed a few weeks to find a place to put her horse. A kind horse lover agreed to take this mare for that short period of time. Well, the owner never showed up or answered calls.

Now Cheyenne needs a loving home. She is 15 and was basically unhandled, unvetted, has never had her feet done, was living alone on a dry lot eating moldy hay. A mustang trainer haltered and fully vetted, vaccinated, coggins and all. Within the first 3 hours of the trainer being there she was over the mares back and all. Horse was unsure but great about it.

She is haltered at all times but if her halter is off you cant touch her at all but once the halter is on its like a switch is flipped, you can brush her and rub her and do most anything other than feet. We have not been able to do anything with her legs and feet. She has been blanketed her and all. She's learning to stand tied but the current "owner" is not a trainer and can't afford to get her trained but the mustang trainer said she is one fo the smartest horses she's ever met.

She's an Appaloosa Paso Fino cross, dam was the appy, sire was the paso.
Imagine that ride!

The person who has her would like a small adoption fee to cover some of the costs
