This sweet little girl came to us as an owner surrender who had no name and was living in a backyard with two other dogs and had been given no attention. She had a rough start as she had a bone sticking out of her foot (from what the vet did not know) and the owner rather than fixing it, thought she should be euthanized. Our vet repaired the bone and she is now healthy and ready for a forever home. She was named after the vet tech who saved her and brought her to us to give her a better life.
She is a happy girl who is 3-4 years old and weighs 6 pounds. She could use a little more weight and is eating well. She is learning to walk on a leash and prefers a harness rather than a collar. She is potty trained and uses a doggy door. She loves treats and will take them gently from your hand. She is still a little shy at times, barks very little except to remind you that it is time to get up or time to have a treat or dinner. She gets along well with all her doggy foster friends and is learning that it is warm inside the house, fun things happen, and there are loving people in this world who will give her belly rubs. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home. She would do best with dogs that are easy going since we believe it was the bigger dogs had picked on her in her prior life.
