Ozzy appears to be very serious and proper, with no sense of humor. He walks with a strut, but I think that's because he has been #1 stud at the puppy mill and there has been at least one female in heat ever since he got here 5 weeks ago. I think he believes his own publicity and is trying to maintain his reputation. However, since he has been neutered and his testosterone level is beginning to get lower, I am beginning to see cracks in his performance. He is beginning to show a little interest in people and welcome just a little attention, allowing hugs and kisses. He is a bit inquisitive about what the other dogs are so interested in, like belly rubs, treats, or toys. This is one dog who I think would do fine as a only dog, but he would not do well home alone all day long. He needs some stimulation to continue his progress with socialization and becoming an active member of a family. Without some stimulation, I could see him regressing to a lonely, depressed hermit, like he was at the breeders. Like living alone in a cage, but now it would be a much bigger cage. He has great potential, but it is going to take some effort on his family's part to make sure he is being included in lots of daily socialization. He is so handsome, and such a beautiful silver brindle! A very proud boy. He is only 3 yrs old, so is not too "set in his ways".
