My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SAMMMMMY!!!!

This young male came all the way from Tennessee just to be in our rescue. Not really, but he did come from the south.
Quiet, scared and a bit timid from all that travel Sammy is now in the warm and safe arms of his foster mom and dad. He is not alone though, Sammy has a female foster sister named Harriet and a foster brother named Beau. And for added measure 2 cats!

Sammy isn't sure what to make of the cats but he sure knows how to play with the other dogs! That guy can jump and run and wiggle with the best of them. But in the evening Sammy loves to snuggle in his foster dad's arms and fall fast asleep.
Sammy is just beginning to enjoy his new found freedom but it is at his own pace. Little children would be a bit too much for Sammy right now.

Sammy is smart, obedient, funny and just a great little guy. Because he has so much fun with other dogs we would like to see him get adopted to a family that either has another dog or can keep Sammy in a social circle with other dogs.
A fenced yard would be required to keep Sammy safe while he is having a good time outdoors.
SAMMY WILL BE AVAILABLE TO MEET AND GREET STARTING FEBRUARY 2 BECAUSE HE WAS RECENTLY NEUTERED.

Sammy is a Russel terrier mix, 18 months old, 11 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, neutered, housebroken and micro chipped.
