My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Twister is a 12 week old male Bassett hound/Plott hound mix. This boy is such a cutie! He is a playful little short legged boy. There were 10 puppies in the litter. 6 of them did get very sick and we're at the emergency animal hospital. But we are happy to report Twister survived Parvo and has gotten a clean bill of health from his veterinarian. He is ready now to find his forever home.

$275 Adoption fee required. This covers altering, 6 in 1 series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, Parasite testing, frontline, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation. All SOAR dogs go through a ten day quarantine period to insure they are healthy, before being put up for adoption. Though if the dog is an owner turn in and has been to a vet within the last ten days they go immediately up for adoption, with a further exam at the time of altering. If for any reason the dog does not work out in your family we will take the dog back into our care at any time during the lifetime of the dog. (We require that the said do be returned to us, as per contract. Please read further details on our main page on the last section of our adoption procedure.)
