My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She is an 11 month old, spayed, female lab. Violet is still very puppy and is beginning to learn what boundaries are. Violet needs a very active home! There is no "lazy" in this Lab. Violet plays too rough for small children! The ideal home for Violet would be an active home without children.

She has recently been fostered with a trainer where she completed a two week board and train program. She has learned sit and down, not to door dash, how to act in the house, and how to walk nicely on a leash. As long as her new family continues to keep up with the training, it will stick with her. She’s a quick learner and likes to learn, she would love someone who would teach her tricks! Violet, being very much the puppy she is, likes to jump when first meeting new people. She’s learning this is not okay, however if she thinks she can get away with it on a new person she will try!

Violet loves to swim so a family that will take her to the lake or has a pool would be a bonus! She knows her name very well, too. She’s met the resident dog at her foster home, a large intact male malinois, who she’s taken correction nicely from when she’s trying to take his ball or starts to play too rough. Violet loves all people.
