Meet Brandy!
Brandy is a fun and adventurous girl seeking her human family to come along for the ride! Brandy is just over 3 years old and a 40 pound Redbone Coonhound mix. She is silly and inquisitive always searching for new adventures to sniff out! Brandy adores being with people and longs to be your person for life.
There is an unknown story in her past as seen by a scar on her back but that doesn’t stop this girl from striving to be the best friend she can be. Brandy is fortunate to be trained by Woofbeach in Batavia to help her along her journey. Woofbeach would love to continue Brandy’s training with her forever family. She is working very hard on her manners and with patience she will be a fantastic family member.
Brandy loves adventure, car rides, walks and meeting new human friends including kids! She would love an active household to keep her busy. Being a Coonhound mix her ideal home would not have cats or small dogs. Medium to large dogs would be great fun.

A Journey Home is a 501c3, all foster/volunteer based rescue. Our rescues are living with families in their homes. We do not have a shelter.
If you are interested in adopting, visit our website www.ajourneyhomedogrescue.org to fill out an application. After your application has been received and given a preliminary approval, you will be contacted by an adoption coordinator who will conduct a phone interview. Final approval will be granted following a successful meet and greet with the entire family. Adopter must be at least 21 yrs old.
Our standard adoption fee is $300, payable by cash or check. The fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, a free vet visit at one of our participating clinics, and micro-chipping.
