My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. We adopted our Blue Heeler Cattle dog mix breed from the Livingston County Human Society about 6 years ago. We live on a lake without a ton of property for her to run and roam. My husband and I are corporate professionals and empty nesters. We cannot spend the time with her that she needs and deserves. She loves human interaction and gets depressed when left alone.

She does not like interacting with most other dogs. The shelter believes she was attacked by other dogs and not good with big dogs. She is not great with most other dogs except for our kid's small dog. She barks and becomes very territorial and scared. The shelter said she came to us from an abused home and very sensitive loud noises and people talking very loudly if it sounds like they are yelling.

She is good with kids and have never bitten any person, outside of nipping the vet who was giving her a shot. She has bitten the neighbor dog who was unleased. Their dog tried to bite me. She loves to play and is smart
