My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These girls are two years old and well bonded. They come with tons of supplies and a fantastic enclosure and set up.

Avalon: White and grey American guinea pig. Avvy is a little chunky but in good health. She loves to laze, but she also popcorns in a freshly cleaned cage and runs for veggies and treats. She loves the fuzzy bits of timothy hay, and she can "sit up" for treats when she feels like it. She doesn't love being handled, but she doesn't get too upset about it. She sometimes squeaks in dismay and startles during nail trims, but she doesn't put up too much resistance. She loves her buddy Catalina and often lays near her.
Catalina: Black and white American crested guinea pig. Catty is pretty shy, but she appears to be the boss pig of the group. She doesn't like being picked up or handled, and will chatter and run away at the earliest sign that something is afoot. Once she's in your hands, she's docile and tolerates nail trims well. She loves Avvy and doesn't like to be away from her for too long. She also loves dried strawberry treats and LOVES cilantro. She has been treated (successfully) for a UTI, so she does best on a low-calcium diet of hay, Oxbow pellets, green peppers, cucumbers and occasional cilantro. She loves carrots and parsley but doesn't get these often because of the higher levels of calcium.
Wrigley: Brown and black Abyssinian. Wrigley is curious, playful and smart -- with enough treats, she can learn simple tricks. She's pretty vocal and will chitchat around the cage at the other girls, and she does a lot of squeaking for treats and veggies when she thinks it's time (like when she hears the fridge door open). She tolerates handling and nail trims pretty well.
