Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When adorable Pablo first appeared on our radar, he looked bewildered. This pint sized cutie could not understand why his owners had dropped him off at NYCACC, but they left his bed too, for some measure of comfort.
Pablo's Owner reported him to be 14 years old, and that gobsmacked the Shelter Vet. He appeared to be in first-rate condition, though slightly thin at 9 pounds, but having none of the signs of old age that most small dogs show. Thankfully, shelter staff reached out to us immediately, and we were happy to welcome Pablo into our Rescue.
Pablo obviously has a great set of genes! He did not succumb to the NYCACC rampant shelter virus and appears to have Superman's immune system. After he reached our Rescue, Pablo had senior bloodwork and a routine dental procedure, with no extractions. He is in fantastic shape, with alot of life and love to give his special person.
Pablo's behavior is exemplary. He is a loving Little Cuddle bug, and would be a good addition to any type of home. He craves attention, and is the ultimate lap dog. He'd be a great companion to other adult dogs, or perhaps a senior dog, who has recently lost his or her companion. Pablo would be great with cats: he's got a genial nature and loves everyone he meets.
Pablo is in excellent health and has been neutered. He has been vaccinated for Rabies and DHLPPC (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo, parainfluenza and coronavirus). He has had the 4dx test, and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia. He has been microchipped and dewormed.
