My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petite Anna is a 3 ½ year old little girl weighing only 51 pounds. Don’t let that scare you. This little one has a big bark!

Because Anna was never socialized growing up and spent much of her time outdoors tied up, Anna starts out as a nervous girl and needs a slow introduction to everything. She needs someone very patient. PLEASE LET ME REPEAT THAT. She needs someone very patient who will give her the time to trust and time to gain confidence to accept her new person. Once she gets to that point, she becomes your protector and love bug and will only have eyes for you. She wants nothing more than to be with her one and only person with her head on your lap or leaning against your legs.

Anna is a high energy, playful girl. She knows her basic obedience, but she does need some leash work as she tends to pull, and we are still working on jumping up to great her current person. She is treat- motivated so training comes easy to her if you are consistent. Training in this fashion also helps Anna to bond and get comfortable with you.

She is just the sweetest, softest little thing you’ll ever meet. Anna’s ideal home would be in a quiet home with only one or two people, with few visitors, no children. as an only dog, with an enclosed fence to burn off some of her excess energy by playing ball and running around.
