My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ZOEY: 18lbs, dob: ~07/23/17, tri-colored Beagle(MilkChoc, Caramel & Vanilla). adoption fee: $235. Rescued from a high-kill shelter in western NC..brought in as a 'stray' along with her baby girl, ZELDA: currently 18lbs, dob: ~10/10/18, Beagle/LabradorRtvrX(Black w/white chest & 4 legs. adoption fee: $295

both are housebroken, crate-trained, and walk well on-leash.                                                    They get along well with other dogs and older respectful children(10+yo).                                H4S will be testing them with cats, when they go in for their spay surgeries on FRI/FEB 8th and will be ready for delivery on SAT/Feb 16th after they have recovered from their surgeries.

LOVELY little twosome(mom and daughter) came to our rescue together but don't necessarily need to go 'home' together. They would do well in any sized family, though older children would be a better match for Zelda. Zoey is quite the squirrel hunter, here on Howlin4Spirit's secured 5ac wooded compound and then comes inside for naps, snuggles and food while Zelda sticks closer to the house & other pups, yet too playful right now for small children so would need a family/person willing to do obedience training with her...she's really just feeding off all the other pup's energy(another reason why young children would not be a good match for Zelda). Zoey is more mature and easy-going. Both want to please!

Adoption fees includes spay, micro-chip, health certificate, utd on Parvo/Distemper/Lepto, Bordatella and 1st yr Rabies vax, parasite-free, current on heart worm & flea/tick prevention,   3lbs current dry food-Tractor Supply Store's '4health' salmon & potato, beef knee cap bone, Martingale collar & matching 6'leash & T ball.

This pup is in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until she has recovered from her spay surgery and her adopter's has been approved.                                                              Delivery will be on the following Saturday after being approved via LIFESAVERS(LongIsland, western NJ/Allentown& CarlislePA), HAPPY DOGS(I-95 as far as Manchester, NH) and SAVE THEM ALL(Rochester/Albany=2X mo) Rescued Pet Transports. Their fees are: $125 to as far as NYC/LI and $140 N & W of NYC/Long Island>wNJ/E>centralPA).
