My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I am one of six heeler pups (5 boys and 1 girl) that were rescued from Alabama after the unexpected litter from a family's "purebred" Australian Cattle Dog. No one is sure what other breeds we are, other than cute! We were born on December 7th, 2018, so we are staying with our littermates at Found Chicago Boarding and Training Center getting some fun exposure to people, other dogs, and working on our drive development with toys so our new owners will be able to exercise us when we grow up!

My name is Talia and I'm the big sister out of five boys. I am the largest and the most social. I LOVE people and will go out of my way to meet every single person in the room with wiggles and licks. I am easy to handle and have some fetch drive, even at this young age. I will tug also, especially if my brothers are around, I have to compete! I like to stay out of trouble in the group and will sit back while my brothers tiff over who's the boss. My food drive is med-high, and I follow a lure well. I also like to chase the flirt pole, and make a good effort to catch it. I would make a good therapy, agility, frisbee, or flyball companion. If you are looking for a sport dog, email brittney@caninesandcompany.org for more video of my training.

If you are considering adopting me or any of my siblings, it is preferred that my new family have experience and knowledge of herding breeds like Australian Cattle Dogs. We are not the breed for everyone, as we need consistent exercise and challenge as we grow into adults. Please ensure you are ready for the time and effort a puppy like us will need.

With our adoption fee, you can attend a Found Chicago Boarding and Training course for FREE. Email brittney@caninesandcompany.org with any questions or concerns you have about me or any of my siblings.
