My story

DOB: 11/2015   Weight: 55 lbs

Lia here is a very pretty Labrador/Boxer mix who is awaiting the perfect family. She’s currently in foster and is already adjusted to what it’s like living in a house. For her breed she has some medium shedding and an okay amount of energy. Lia is good with both cats and kids but would like to be the only dog (previously lived with dogs but is nervous around unknown ones). If really interested we can do a meet with another dog. She’s very loving and likes her people a lot. The best family for her would be a one that will give her lots of playtime and love. Her adoption fee is $175. We offer a two week trial in which we can lend you a crate and some supplies if needed. If interested you can fill out an application on our official website. She is utd on shots, spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. She came to the shelter 11/2018.

***YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BEFORE WE DO ANY MEET AND GREETS. QUESTIONS? CONTACT pcpoundpuppies1@gmail.com

Our standard adoption fee is $175 ($250 for puppies 6 months and under, or small dogs 20lbs or below) which covers a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.

***If there is a dog you are interested in meeting, fill out an application and we will contact you for an interview and set up a meet and greet as soon as possible.***

You can get in touch with us by email at pcpoundpuppies1@gmail.com for more information.

We respond to inquiries and adoption applications at our earliest opportunity, but please be patient with us as we work full-time jobs and perform this service as volunteers. We do our best to return messages and schedule adoption interviews within a couple of days of receiving your application.

The fastest way to get the ball rolling is to complete an adoption application for the dog that caught your eye.  Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter dog!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process consists of an adoption application followed by an interview. Upon arriving at the shelter, each dog receives a Bordetella shot, DHPPC vaccination and worming. At the veterinarian's office, our dogs receive a rabies vaccination, a spay or neuter surgery, and are tested for heartworm. If a dog tests positive, we treat the dog and then retest to confirm that the treatment was successful. Additionally, our dogs are microchipped before going home with their new family. Adoption fees are $85 and help to cover the cost of vetting.
