Lucy is a real sweetheart. She is gentle and polite, and loves to be noticed. A great gal who was almost left behind when someone moved away. A good samaritan stepped in the knick of time to prevent her abandonment and got her into temporary foster. She deserves a fresh start with someone dedicated who can remind her shes important. She is 6 years old, 4 paw declawed, fixed, fully vetted, a tad overweight but a little diet and exercise should do the trick. She will be a great companion and a loyal friend. She would love a home where she can just be herself and have someone she can count on. She would probably do best as an only pet since that is all she's known. She has only had the one owner, but surprisingly she has transitioned easily into rescue/foster. She was patient and good in the car, receptive to meeting new people and to explore a new environment, she has the confidence be comfortable and fit herself in. She seems to understand it's a new chapter for her and is very appreciative of everything. She is ready to move right in and embrace that special someone who can show her she is wanted and loved.
