My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Glenda (HWTH#18345A). She is a Beagle mix, DOB: 12/15/15. Glenda weighs approximately 35 pounds and stands 17 inches at the shoulders. She was rescued from a hoarder in the Antelope Valley along with 16 other dogs. They were all malnourished and had very little socialization. Since being rescued, the volunteers with Halfway to Home have done their best to give Glenda and the other dogs recued the kindness, medical care and some socialization to help prepare them for adoption into loving Forever homes. Glenda is a very sweet, loving girl who is a little timid around strangers but warms to you once acquainted. She shows no signs of aggression. She will need a new owner willing to continue to help build her confidence levels, give her the love, good-quality human companionship, playtime, exercise and training needed for her to feel secure in her new environment. When Glenda has thoroughly settled into her new home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training, other obedience commands and the bonding process. Glenda is good with other dogs but should be introduced slowly. She is crate trained. For more information on Glenda, please call Sandy at tele # 661-824-4495.

The larger dogs at the rescue are walked at least twice a week by the volunteers and Glenda now gets very excited when she knows that it is her turn for a walk.
