My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Milo! I am about 9 years old and I'm a very energetic laid-back guy. I'm always up for an adventure or just laying on the couch as long as I'm with my human. The start of my life has been a little rough but thanks for the Caring Hands here I went from having three legs to use (I came with a fractured leg) to having all four of my legs again so I may walk a little funny but I'm getting used to it and because of my newfound abilities in life I'm experiencing many new things like playing with toys. I'm a very well-behaved boy that will do anything for affection but sometimes I can get a little too excited and be vocal. My favorite thing to do when you're not home is to chew on a big bone cuz if I don't have that I'll find something to get into and that can be fun for me but not always fun for my human. My foster mom calls me a sweetheart and that I steal everyone's heart as soon as they meet me, she tells me I'm all better and that I'm finally ready to find my own family, will that be you?

Dogs will only be adopted to residents of the following: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and DC.

Adopters must agree to take the dog through obedience training within 3 months of adoption (unless the dog is over age 10).

Adopters must agree to keep the dog current on vaccinations and heart worm, flea, tick prevention on a year round basis.
