Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hennessey is a handsome young man full of energy and love. He is a 1 yr old neutered Merle Great Dane. He is so eager to meet people and loves to play with pups that appreciate his personality and “game on” excitement. He is FAST AND FUN but has shown discretion with little dogs too. Doesn’t seem to have any issues with cats – but our tester is slightly “mean” – so he was scared. He likes to tower over his friends but not necessarily in a domineering way just a curious fashion. Here at the Canine Camp – Rocco – small terrier is his best friend. He has manners but is still a puppy at heart. He needs to put a little weight on and is a somewhat messy eater. But he cleans up after himself. He does like treats and that gives him comfort when asked to do new things. He has no signs of being too rough, anxious or guarded with little people – sometimes a little slow to approach until he figures out his surroundings. He would be an excellent addition to any family who would love a playful silly big puppy. He does need some time and attention to learn proper manners and how to “be a dog” so Hennessey will have a training requirement as part of his adoption to ensure he learns proper manners and expectations. Hennessey will require an experienced dog owner to help him be all he can be and given his energy level we are looking for a home with a big fenced yard. All around handsome, delightful and wonderful young man. He is the PERFECT fit for any family that has playful dogs, playful kids and wants a BIG FUN DOG!!!

Update 3-14-19
Hennessey is an active and incredibly smart boy who likes nothing more than to stretch his legs in the back yard or on a walk. He loves to play with other dogs all shapes and sizes. He is still a little shy when you go to touch him or grab his collar but that is only for a second. Hennessey needs some good hoe cooking. He is a skinny boy and loves treats. He is a goofy bundle of enthusiasm, so I need to join a family with adults or older children. Hennessey would love a little extra training too. He knows commands but would really benefit and like to learn more. A perfect bonding exercise with his human.
