Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marlee is a 2 year old spayed female. She came to our rescue after her owner, an army veteran passed away from a heart condition. While Marlee was very loved by her family, she missed out on training, which is what we are working on in her foster home. Currently we are learning that crating can be fun and how to properly greet both people and other dogs. She enjoys toys and chews (antlers and water buffalo horns) and loves go on walks. I do feel she would make a good running partner as well.
Marlee has a good off switch if she gets enough mental and physical exercise, and will cuddle up next to you in the evening for Netflix and belly rubs! Because of her exuberant personality, she will do best in a household without young children.
Marlee LOVES to play with other dogs, however, she will do best with a like minded playmate, as a shy or timid dog may get overwhelmed by her antics. She has not been tested with cats, but shows a little too much interest in the chickens.
Marlee is being fostered in the Texas Panhandle, is fully potty trained and current on all vaccinations . She will need a family that wants to continue working with her training. If interested in adopting this sweet pup please fill out an application on our website.
