Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bugsy got her name because when she first came into foster as she was the smallest of the bunch . . . teeny tiny with huge eyes. She reminded us of a little bug. She lagged behind in every regard and needed more individual attention than the rest. It took a bit for her to settle in and catch up, but eventually she did. She is the sweetest one of the bunch, and really doesn’t have the mischievous side so often seen in kittens. She is quiet and a bit reserved, but will turn on the purr with any attention. She loves nothing more than to climb into your lap for a snuggle. She loves all her siblings tremendously and when not cuddled up to you, she will be cuddled up with one of them. Bugsy has grown up in a house with two great danes, that she loves tremendously. She would do well in a home with dogs.
It is preferred that she be adopted with one of her siblings -- Bunny, Chubbs, Brooke, and Willard. As they all are so close, we are not picky as to which sibling is chosen.
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
