My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx. birthdate: August 11, 2018. Meet Pocahontas! Poca (as her foster mom calls her) was rescued about two months ago in Puerto Rico by one of the members of a rescue we work with there after she saw Poca on the streets for two days straight in the same spot, just waiting for someone to rescue her. She was fostered and fully vetted in Puerto Rico, and then flown to us to find her forever home. Pocahontas is a very sweet, goofy girl that gets along great with other dogs and cats, and loves people [including children]. She loves to give kisses and to play with toys, but mostly she just loves to be around you. She currently weighs 20 lbs., but still has some more growing to do. If you are interested in Pocahontas, please contact us or see her at our Saturday adoption shows 12 pm - 4 pm at the Sterling Heights Petco off of Lakeside Circle [by Lakeside Mall, right next to the old ToysRUs].
