Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lupe's mom passed away when she was a puppy and she ended up in a pen for about seven years until I rescued her. She wants to be close and will follow you from room to room. She wants to be on the couch with you as close as you will permit. Her FAVORITE thing is going for walks!
Lupe is afraid of sudden noises. She is afraid of thunder, and it has been a challenge getting used to household sounds like banging the potato-masher against the bowl. But she has gotten much better! She no longer crawls under the bed when I open a drawer -- she's getting used to one sound at a time.
Lupe loves kids! She doesn't mind being squeezed and hugged, having her ears played with. She knows it's all about love!
She likes other dogs OK but loves people the most. She'll try to chase a cat a first, but learned her manners when the neighbor's cat put her in her place.
Lupe needs a family who understands what it means to have fears from a rough life. She's ready for love!
