My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rachel. Rachel is the middle girl of our dobie mix litter. All of these dogs are on the smaller side but we expect them to reach anywhere from 30-40 pounds at peak weight. Rachel is a sweet, sweet girl. She loves hugs and affection but like most heeler mixes, she can be a little excitable. She is good with other dogs of all sizes and kids over 10. She is tolerable of cats and has not made any effort to harm our cats and typically does not bark at them. We think she will adjust just fine to cats in her forever home, if applicable, given her behavior up to this point but there are never any guarantees about how cats and dogs will get along.

Rachel is located in Alabama and being housed in our rescue here. Her mom is still available for adoption, as we took in Mama and her litter, and nursed them all to health. Rachel, her mom, and siblings were all strays that were taken in by a kind stranger that brought them to us. We had them evaluated with our vet and got everyone UTD on vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery and now they're ready for their forever homes! Adoption fee is $400 which includes all vaccinations, surgery, current flea/tick medicine & heart worm preventative, a certificate of health from our veterinarian, as well as, transportation fee of $175. You will also receive a copy of all medical records in a pet health record folder.
