Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at www.paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children (under 8 are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet references can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit, and once approved, a meet and greet with the dog.
Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but adoptions in Illinois will be considered.
Adoption fee is $250.

Finley is currently living in a foster home near Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Finley, and his sister, Felicity, were dumped out on a remote country road in rural Texas. Finley is around two years old and weighs just 11 pounds. We really aren't sure of what breed mix he is, but she has kind of a long Dachshund body. Whatever he is, we think he sure is cute! Finley would love nothing more than a home and people of his own that truly care for him and wouldn't even dream of dumping him on a remote country road! He is a sweet boy who deserves a great life!
Finely is great with kids over 6 years old and dogs of all sizes, though he's sometimes scared of really large hyper dogs. He loves to play with the other dog in his foster home. He is also a professional snuggler.
Finely is so well-behaved that sometimes he goes to work with his foster mom. He seriously melts everyone's heart. He is an all-around great dog!!!!!!
Finley will do best in a home with children over 6 years old. He is intimidated by large dogs, so friends his size will be a better match!
